Hatch of Time

Filmposter Concept

Hatch of Time is a fictional time-travel film centred around a young dragon whose hatching briefly opens a portal through time. This defining moment became the focus of the poster.

The final composition combines more than eight separate images into one cinematic scene, carefully assembled using non-destructive editing techniques and colour grading to create a believable and immersive visual narrative.

Adobe Photoshop

Conceptual schoolproject.
stockimages or generated images were used as part of the design.

Process

I wanted to reveal just enough of the story to spark curiosity without giving everything away. This project became an exercise in concept development, image selection and precise photo manipulation, bringing multiple stock images together into one cohesive composition.

Curious about the process behind this project? I'd be happy to share the full research, concept development and visual studies that shaped the final design. Feel free to get in touch.

Design Method

  • Geometric drawing of an outline square with sections divided by vertical, horizontal, and diagonal lines.

    In-depth Research

Every project begins with listening and observing. I explore the story behind the brand or product to understand what it truly wants to communicate.

    Concept Development

Those insights evolve into a visual system where emotion and strategy come together. This is where the tone, rhythm and direction of the design take shape.

    Iterative Exploration

Typography, colour and composition are refined through experimentation. Every iteration brings the visual language closer to its strongest and most coherent form.

    Presentation

The final outcome should be more than a finished design; it should tell a story. Every project is presented with careful attention to context, consistency and experience.
